Captain Karsten Reinemo is a Nantucket native and a graduate of Maine Maritime Academy.
He has been a USCG licensed Captain for more than 35 years.

Captain Matt Reinemo earned his Captain’s license at the age of 18 and is entering his
11th summer running the Topspin.  On his days off, Matt often heads to Madaket to do some fishing.
Now you can join him onboard the SandBar Exam.  In the off-season, Matt has run sportfishing boats
out of Costa Rica and Miami, and gained fishing experience from all over the world.  In September 2008,
Capt. Matt was named Overall Grand Champion Captain in the Redbone Nantucket Slam Tournament.
Matt also holds a J.D. from University of Miami Law School and is licensed to practice law in
Massachusetts and Florida.

Captain Tim Reinemo also earned his Captain’s license at the age of 18.  He graduated from the United
States Merchant Marine Academy, and when he is not fishing, Tim runs commercial tugs. Tim has also
worked on vessels in New York Harbor, Alaska, the Far East, and throughout the Pacific Ocean.
